YYM Group General Building Contracting Co. W.L.L. (the Agent) acts as commercial agent of Salini Impregilo S.p.A. (Salini) and the potential exposure, under applicable law, by the Agent’s General Manager Mr. Yousef Al Matrouk (Mr. Al Matrouk) to personal (civil and or criminal) liabilities in relation to municipal violations concerning the project’s temporary building areas (including offices, storage, central mixers, asphalt factory, and workers rest areas) (collectively, the Indemnified Matters) under the contracted dated 30th June 2016 (the Contract) entered into by Salini and KOLIN Insaat, Turizm Sanayi ye Ticaret A.S. (KOLIN).

South Al-Mutlaa City is the largest housing project in Kuwait with 28,363 units, currently being executed in cooperation with international experts. The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has signed a contract of about KD 288 million with the our Italian Salini Costruttori Engineering Company and Turkey’s Kolin Group to build the city’s infrastructure

South Al-Mutlaa project consists of 12 suburbs including roughly 28,363 houses, covering 400 square meters each. It is located 40 km northwest of Al-Jahra City. It has a total of 30,000 housing units. Al-Mutlaa City, set to house about 400,000 residents, includes 116 schools, about 156 mosques, 48 mini markets, 12 public health centers and three specialized clinics and other utilities. — KUNA

South Al-Mutla City project has created a significant change in the housing philosophy in Kuwait and created a situation of optimism among those concerned with the housing issue, in addition to lowering of rent prices of private housing in the country.
The new city’s population is expected to reach about 400,000 inhabitants and will contribute to the reduction of the waiting period to get a home, especially as it is the largest residential city in Kuwait, as well as resolving the housing issues, rising of rent and the elimination of excess housing in urban areas.
Elaborating on the project, the Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Yasser Hassan Abul said: “Though big, the project to develop the infrastructure of the city is expected to be implemented in a record time thanks to the long experiences of Salini and Kolin and the cooperation by PAHW.”
The scope of work includes construction of 150km of roads and related structures and numerous art works,
lighting infrastructure, water distribution, rain-water gathering and sewage systems, and other civil works
necessary for the distribution of electricity, installation of telecommunications networks and traffic control.
